Could someone give me towns near where we could book a reasonable hotel or motel.
How soon should we book. Its not till end of July.
Would like super8 price range.

Where do you live, how far away? I live in Pa. and some of the closest towns to Hershey are Harrisburg our state capital. Could you call one of the major hotels 800# and ask them if there is a place to stay near Hershey. It is a very nice show. I live in NE Pa. and it is about a 2 1/2 hr drive from me and we do it all in one day. Marge

I live approx. 45 min. from Hershey and there are many hotels in the area and I think there is a Super 8 or Motel 6. Just google Hotels near Hershey. There is also a quilt shop called Quiltmaker's Cottage just 10 minutes from the Hershey Lodge where the quilt show is held and I'm going this year!!! Foot surgery last July kept me from it!!

Thanks for the heads up about the quilt store. Might be on our way as we`ll be going to atlantic city after.

Palmyra is a nice little town and the motels/hotels feed off the events in Hershey, but I guess that is everywhere...If I can, I will try to go Friday, but as of right now, it will probably be Saturday.
