Both look to be in decent shape. Lucky you for raising such a sweet son.

Sons can surprise you with the neatest things at times. Your son did well mom. Love your machines, and he really did get a bargin on both. Several years back I was looking for some minature irons in pkgs. like Michaels used to carry in their craft dept. to use for the numbers on a clock face for an antique wooden ironing board that was my Mother's and couldn't find any around my area or on the internet. My son lives near Austin,Tx and there is a really neat Brown Bear store in his town with almost everything. I asked him to look for some for me. I gave him the approx. size I wanted. Well needless to say he couldn't find any that small, but did come up with a larger ceramic one and a cast iron a little larger that he bought at an antique store - never did find out how much he paid for the cast iron one. I kept both and I will put them on a shelf on the ironing board I'm still looking for some of the really small ones in the minature sections in pkgs.
