I m looking for a trip around the world pattern, but I need one that is done with blocks and not with strips. Can anyone tell me where to get one PLEASE.

i made a lot and never used a pattern. Just pick what size block you need, then cut 1, 4, 8, 12, 16, etc. starting in the center and going out. I laid them out on the floor.
You need a little math to figure how many blocks you are going to need for the size you want, and whether you want it square or rectangular.

Layout all your squares. Sew the squares together in pairs, then sew two pairs together. Now you have a new set of squares. Repeat sewing two squares and then two pairs. Repeat and repeat until you're done.

I get out my trusty graph paper and pencil crayons and colour in the little squares until I get an arrangement I like. I then just cut my squares in a multiple of the 1/4 in square like in math class (1/4 in. represents 5 in. etc.)
