Happened to me the other day, and I had a tiny piece of thread caught in the top!

I would check the top thread and re-thread it, too. Rethreading your machine is like turning off the computer and turning it back on. No one knows why, it just fixes things.

OK, if I am not mentally worn out when I get home from work I will tackle it again and post how it went. Thanks for all the help!
