Looks like Hobbs 80/20 wins the prize, I'll add my vote for it too.

My favorite is Hobbs wool batting and silk batting. I stock up when I find a sale. I had to furnish it for my quilts when I used a LA around here , they would stroke out when I ask for it. LOL. I use the Hobbs 80/20 for some quilts and no complaints.

I have been longarm quilting for almost 14 years and have always used Hobbs products; the 80/20 and poly for my and my customers' quilts. Love it!!!

I use Hobbs 80/20 and Warm & Natural, prefer the Hobbs...makes for a softer quilt.

I bought some Hobbs poly/down on sale a few months ago. I recently looked at the packages and can't see anywhere that it tells how far apart quilting can be. Anyone know?

I've used it, and my Bailey home quilter seems to do better with it than with the 100% Dream Cotton. So, I buy Hobbs 80/20 when I can find it.

According to the Hobbs website, Hobbs PolyDown should be quilted max 6":

After trying many different kinds of batting, I now use hobbs 20/80 all the time. It's very good quality.

I use Hobbs 80/20 almost exclusively. I purchase it by the roll from Marshalls Drygoods in Batesville, Arkansas. In Jan of this year when I ordered with shipping included it was about $120 for 30 yds long x 96" wide.

I like Hobbs polydown since I do both hand quilting and machine stich in the ditch....sometimes I do both kinds of quilting on the same quilt. I usually quilt between 3 and 4 inches. Thanks Prism99 for the link, now I know that I can quilt a little further apart if I want to...
