My experience has always been with the already 30% fabric is that they honor 40% instead of the 30%. Hobby Lobby will honor it on fabric or at least two of the Hobby Lobby stores here in Austin do. It has been awhile since I have used one but sometimes there is confusion in the fabric department vs. person at register at check out, but it always has been honored and never refused in my past experiences. Joann's is a different story. If the item is already on sale than coupon will not apply except for the 20% or whatever on entire purchase and it will say "including sale items".

One always has to read the fine print (why I should start carrying a magnifying glass!) on coupons!

I always tell the clerks that I am willing to play by their rules, but I need to know and understand the rules. It would help the whole situation if the clerks knew and understood the rules also. This applies to many stores, and I am not singling out HL.

I have an email in to Joann's right now to see if the teacher discount can be used with "doorbusters". We will see if the answer I get matches what the cash register will do. Ha!
