Ummm... doesn't that add work and take out some of the fun of pre-cuts?

Maybe it's less work than hand-cutting 80 or 90 or more strips from yardage. Also, rounding up 40 or 50 different batiks might be more daunting than doing a little work on the strips, yes?

You obviously haven't seen my stash, Don.

Last I heard (April), Hoffman was working very hard to find a more accurate way to cut the Pops while still on site in order to prevent the cost from jumping due to laser cutting in the States. That's why I asked if they still say 'hand cut'.

One reason why I never use "precuts". The other being I'm a pre-washer. They do look lovely though..all nicely packaged with the ribbon. In the end, I prefer yardage pre-washed and cut by me. I was gifted with some jelly strips once and they were beautiful. I still use them to sew strips to check my 1/4" seam allowance, LOL.

I have used Bali Pops many times and never noticed any poor cuts. All seemed straight to me, thank goodness. I've used charm packs, too and had no problem. Guess the quilting angels have been watching out for me.
