at the top of the page if you type in Hot air balloon- you will find many . There was a swap here earlier in the year and many patterns listed in the thread- just have to read thru it all.
Also if you Google coloring pages- hot air balloon you can use that for applique |
Here is one, paper pieced: http://www.quiltersnewsletter.com/ar.../Up_in_the_Air
Also you might do a board search. There was a hot air balloon block swap several months ago and on that thread there were several links to online patterns, and one member shared a pattern she had drafted. |
I have a pattern but I haven't been able to find it yet. It's in one of my quilt books. I'll keep looking.

Check out some pictures of Balloons that have been seen in, say, Albuquerque, NM.
Hot Air Balloons are no longer just round, they can come in any type, color or fantastic shape you want or can imagine. You can find a lovely wedding cake rising right beside a monstrous Coke bottle, which is near a huge Spiderman and blowing past a large and colorful Ice Cream Cone. Share with us your final product, I'll bet it will be lovely. |
I finally found the pattern I was looking for. It's called Breezing By and is in the Big Book of Rotary Cutter Quilts by Pam Bono Designs. If you still need a pattern, PM me

Designer Pam Bono has one, Breezing By in Leisure Arts book "More Quick Rotary Cutter Quilts. "

I made that pattern for a raffle quilt a couple of years ago! I love that pattern. I asked Pam Bono for permission to use her pattern for the raffle and she graciously allowed it. She asked that I give her credit for the pattern and add her website on the label. Not a problem!
