How can I copy a picture from EQ7?
Our senior center has come up with a pattern that I designed on EQ7 for them to look at, however,
now I can't seem to be able to copy this picture and send to them. They do not have EQ program. I know there is a way cause others have done so on this forum. And I think I've also done this in the past. Can someone tell me how to do this? I've tried "save" as jpg and didn't work. Thank you. Sandy |
Nevermind, I figured it out.....

Oh, Sandy, please tell us......I've been unable to do this myself and was so looking forward to the answer!

You can use the Snipping Tool on your computer to "capture" the picture and either save it as a picture, copy it (such as onto a word processing document), or e-mail it. If you have Windows Vista or newer, you can find the Snipping Tool by clicking on Start--All Programs--Accessories--Snipping Tool.

I installed CutePDF Writer. It will show up as a "printer" under your printer preference and you need to choose it before you print in EQ. Then it creates a popup asking you for a name and creates it where ever you choose. You can pdf anything that EQ prints including templates, rotary cutting directions, yardage etc.

Oh I should add that CutePDS Writer is a free download
|
also, you can choose export snapshot by the icon or under File. after choosing, you have to select the area to export.

I export (open File tab) the picture as jpg to my computer. Then it can be emailed like a picture. Be sure and save 75 pixel and 3.00 size or smaller or it will be a large picture to send. A window pops open for you to choose size.

As others have said, export the picture, or sometimes I'll print to pdf.
