It seems like quite a few people like this very much. Maybe you could have a contest and just charge postage for the winner.

I agree with everyone. The quilt is lovely and it shows your masterful piecing....look at those points and corners.......too lovely not to finish. Border that up and get it quilted......I'd try to find a fabric that incorporates all the colors as mentioned above. You will be surprised how beautiful it will be once you finish!

I think it is very pretty - I like the subdued colors - I think it has an elegant air about it.

You may change your mind after you quilt it. Definitely finish it. It's subtle and lots of people like that kind of quilt.

I know you don't want to spend a lot of time finishing it. I would add three or four 3 inch borders around it in any of the darker fabric you have in the blocks. I wouldn't use any more of the background fabric

I would finish it for sure. I would flip the border suggestions, however, and go with a narrow dark inner border then a medium to light outer border. Finish it and keep it for an unexpected gift. With the colors you have chosen, it would work for a guy or a gal.

I quite like it...in fact I made a quilt with many of the same fabrics line last year. Different pattern but I loved the quietness of it. I put a milk chocolate colored border on mine and it kind of anchored everything. You could also use a steely blue or mossy green too. Don't give up on it though, it's lovely and you put a lot of work into it.

I agree with the first two who responded- white inner border to bring the white all together and then a dark larger border to frame it. It reminds me of a classic white shirt that just needs that dark scarf or jacket to pull it off. At the least, it will be off your to do list!

i like this suggestion if you absolutely have no desire to spend another minute or dime on it. In other words, if no amount of encouragement makes you want to finish it, then turn lemons into lemonade by having a contest here.

I agree with all the other posts. Take it to where you bought your fabric and have fun looking at darker prints. You will be amazed when you see the right print.
