To the original poster, don't let someone else's tightazz attitude take away your joy in quilting. To me, I'm an artist - the end result just happens to be a quilt. Some people just want to suck all the joy out of life. Don't let them, just smile and walk away. |
I'm a quilter, a fabricaholic, a piercer, a lover of color, and someone who someday may do more than SID or squiggly cross hatch quilting.
Awhile back I had someone (a non-quilter) ask me where all the pretty stitching was on one of my quilts. Had to show her that I had indeed quilted it but SID just didn't show. I happen to like SID because of the way it accents the design of the piecing. |
