I am helping my friend make a t-shirt quilt and apparently I need to go back to measuring 101! Somehow the bottom is completely uneven. I can think of a couple of ways to fix it including making it even but want to make sure this looks good. Any ideas???

Adjust the sashing pieces in the rows that need to be fixed.

I should have said "including cutting and making it even"! Guess this upset me more than I realized! Grrr!

oh I feel for you! This happened to me. I undid the whole row and re-did it.

I think we had too many people measuring! The t-shirts are different sizes. Probably best just to add to the bottom. I really want to whack it off but then it wouldn't look right!

LOL...One rule of thumb I use when sewing long pieces like that is to pin it from top to bottom to make sure it matches up before I even start the sewing.

Adding to the bottom will definitely solve the problem. Good Luck.

I know your pain!!! I did a t-shirt quilt for my son and it was by far the most challenging and frustrating project to date.

My suggestion.... I would add to the bottom sashing <as needed> to make them all even. Hang in there. You are on the down hill slide! ;-)
