How do I make a rounded top hanging sleeve?

I am making a wallhanging of the Holy Family that looks like Stained Glass. The top (and bottom) are curved. How do I make a hanging sleeve so that the wall hanging will hang straight? Thanks to all, SewinSue

The only way I could get my wall hanging with a rounded top to hang straight was to trace a piece of fabric the shape and size of the top and about 8" long and sewed it to the back like a sleeve. I then cut a piece of cardboard to that size & shape and put it in the sleeve-thingy. I poked a hole thru the sleeve & cardboard and hung it on a nail in the wall. Probably not the best method, but it works well.

That is funny because I was thinking about doing it that way but using plastic canvas or heavy template plastic instead of the cardboard but just didn't know if that would even work.

You might make a straight sleeve for the bottom also, and put a dowel in it to help it stay straight. Or maybe even curtain weights.
