I am looking at wire hangers for small quilts, but none of the sites show how they attach/hang from a door or wall. This is one of the sites I am researching ----http://pumpkinvinecorner.com/wirehanger.htm#Misc

You need to sew a sleeve to the back top of the quilt. Then you slip the wooden bar off, slide it thru the sleeve and put it back on the wire part.

Sorry - my question is - how does the wire part attach to the door or wall. I am looking at all these decorative wires and I don't see a place to "hang it". There is no description on the 100's I have seen.

Some seem to have a little loop at the top which, I think, you would hang on a nail or picture hook. Otherwise, I think you just hang it on whatever part of the decorative top will keep it level.

save yourself the $$ of using a middleman..go directly to www.ackfeldwire.com and get them direct from the maker!

I see hundreds of these every year...they are the best!

That's what I thought, but these are all fancy designs and no visible loop/hole to hang from. I was wondering if they are attached behind the dowel?? I will keep watching for a definitive answer. Thanks!

you make a hanging sleeve on your quilt, to slide the dowel into! OR you can make hanging tabs, like the tabbed curtains!

To mount on the wall, you use appropriate picture hangers!

I picked a couple of them to show the loops where you can put the screws or nails through them to hang them on the wall. If they don't have a loop, just pick a place on the hanger, put your nail or screw into the wall and then just hang the hanger so it is balanced I showed this in purple on the mug hanger
