I am planning to make a Warm Wishes Quilt . In the instructions the "A" or picture square is 6 inches. But the square I wish to use is 10.5 inch square. That means that the unit square on either side's dementions change. The over all unit square needs to be the same size as the picture square, . But what size to I make the center and the strips on either side? Iam sure this is as clear as mud. Does anyone who has made this quilt know what I mean? Can anyone tell me how to adjust the pattern?

If you cut the outside strips of the unit square 3.5 " and the centre strip 4.5" You would get a 10.5" unfinished unit.

3.5 + 3.5 + 4.5= 11.5 minus 1inch for seam allowances = 10.5

If you are wanting the four patch, just do 5.5" x 5.5" squares.
