I tell mine off for sticking usually on a corner of a cupboard.
I gave up rolling last year and just scrunch under the throat area. Working one handed it had to be quick and easy and it worked . The scrunch holds in throat until next scrunch. I do try not to have large quilts I divide queen king double into sections and do them then, join and quilt over join. The last stage is the only large quilt and as it is a central seam is. Half each side.

DOTTYMO, This is a great idea, and one I'll be definitely considering, it seems such an easy solution to all the tugging and manhandling. Sorry if this is a dense question, but I want to get it right in my mind first.

Am I right in saying that you also add on the borders to each side as well, and then quilt?
