Finishing a quilt is a reason to celebrate!Just the fact that I can finish a quilt in spite of working full-time, being a daughter, sister, wife and Mom of a 14 year old invloved in baseball and jazz band leaves me feeling deeply satisfied. The creative process centers me; from choosing the fabrics, patterns and threads all the way to adding the binding. . .

How do you all feel when you finish one?

I love being in the middle of a project so I feel a bit of let down when I'm finished.

OhOhOh I want it I want it! I'll give it a nice home! If you aren't happy with it, seriously, figure out why, concentrate on the next one. I love finishing one, even with mistakes, because at least I completed SOMETHING. I am always at least 3-4 quilts ahead in my mind...And I do have a few hidden in the closet from early days, but have enough distance on them to at least respect who I was back when I made it. :) If the latest quilt bothers you, why not donate it?

Excited. I can't wait to get it washed and dried to see it and cuddle it. Then I fold them and put them in a large plastic case the ones a comforter comes in. Then when I need one as a gift its already to go.

all of the above, and then sad, cause I may like it but it was made as a gift for someone and I can't keep it.

Yippeee!!! All my hard work has paid off and I am satisfied with what I have accomplished. It may not be perfect, each quilt is a new learning experience and I am glad to have the opportunity to learn.
