How Do You Find A Specific Quilting Block

I have been searching high and low for a quilting block called African Queen quilting block. Does anyone know how you search for hard to find blocks? I have seen it on Pinterest and some other places on the internet but cannot find the author or where to locate and/or purchase the block. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you so much in advance.

I searched for this block and couldn't find any instructions. A lot of the pictures on Pinterest direct you to a web site that no longer exists. I found two references to the designer of the block i.e. Noelle's Handcrafted Specialities and Anne Batiste. Which if any, are correct, I have no idea. It is a simple block though and shouldn't take too long to calculate.:o

I found this, it seems this lady created the block. But I didn't find anything with the name Tee Toe Quilts. Perhaps Craftsy can give you her email.

also this one.

Some have the hands/arms straight down, and others turn those triangles out. Interesting design.
I don't think it would be hard to make your own pattern.

That is an interesting block and an opportunity for wonderful fabrics in the costumes. African tribal dress is stunning to me. Our church supports a mission station there and we have had opportunity to see some of the celebration dress and the fabrics are stunning. I hope you find the pattern and fabrics to use. Please show us the outcome.

I agree that it looks like a pretty simple block to create yourself. I really like it and look forward to seeing yours when you make it.

One is called African Princess and one African Queen, if that makes a difference. The comments in the first link state that she would email the directions to the ladies that had asked for them. I would try there first. Nice pattern.

Thank you ladies so much! I have sent an email asking for the pattern. As I am fairly new to quilting I have been playing with the different rulers to see if I could reverse engineer it, but I wanted to be sure it was not for sale and if I did that the person who actually created the block got credit for it. I am a stickler for giving credit where credit is due. I promise to post when I complete this once I get the block pattern
.

The pattern should be really easy to draw out. This is the link to the Pinterest site with just one block. If I were drawing it I would do it as an 8 inch block. https://au.pinterest.com/pin/556827941406598853/
