I generally judge taking a break by my vocabulary. As I get more and more tired, the things I say to my quilt become not very nice!

I really, really can't see anything wrong with the pic you posted. If you turn some more pieces "wrong" it will look good and like you planned it that way.

I bought a timer from King Arthur Flour that I really like - despite that it cost 3 or 4X an ordinary kitchen timer. It's on a cord to hang around your neck - this was my rational for overspending.

I set it at half-hour intervals, get up walk around, do something else for a few minutes, Come back, check what I've just done and continue sewing (or start ripping)
