Nice block, I hope you figure it out. It does look like a cut down hourglass block for the green star points.

My only thought would ve paper piecing those four units. Maybe someone else has a better answer. :)

You might check quilterscache.com and see if the block is there as they have hundreds of blocks, and includes directions for piecing the blocks.
