Or, you could look at this as a snowballed square within a square, within a square, within a square. Maybe this colorway will help you see it.

This is what I thought of. It would be easy to do this way. :)

I really like it too. You got great help here!

Thank you to everyone for your help. Daisy Dew, you found the exact pattern used. I am so excited. I also watched the youtube on the making of this quilt and it looks interesting. I am wondering how accurate that method is (I usually have the most success squaring up my blocks at regular intervals to keep them square and the right measurement).

I also just found this pattern. It's called "Dragonfly Rings", and it's on page 84 to 87 in the book: "Nine Patch Panache" put out by the House of White Birches. I KNEW I'd seen this pattern recently, so I've been going through all of the books and magazines I've looked at recently. The quilt is "on pointe", and made up of 12" blocks that end up creating the entire look. The difficulty rating is listed as: Confident Beginner, so although it looks very complicated, it's really not that bad. If you would like a copy of these pages, I would be happy to send them to you. Just PM me. (I assume this is allowed, and someone will tell me if it's not!)

What about the quilt below that one? I love it! Can anyone point me in the right direction for the pattern

Whoa! That looks like a Judy Neimeyer (? sp) quilt. I'd check out her website! Good luck to you! Hope you find it!

That's one of my favorite Quilting Block! "PINEAPPLE" I've made a lot for me and for gift and donation etc. Please do it in paper piecing, much easy and perfectly made, just follow the number and the Line ( seam sewing).
