I am making a wallhanging (see below) for my front door, the only problem is the sun..Is there a product that can be used to prevent fading? The front of my house gets about 4 hours in the winter but in the summer it gets 8 hours. I want to make wallhangings for the different season and I don't want to hang them on my front door if they are going to be ruined. So is their such a product out there that will prevent fading. I really want to hang my snowman up before winter is gone...
Thank you and hope you have a wonderful day.... now off to work!!! :)

I have never heard of one, but maybe someone here has. Cute snowman!

I would like to know the answer to that one myself. Your doorhanging is adorable.

I think there is a spray. Maybe by Scotchguard? I think I saw it at Walmart.

There is a product called QuiltGuard. I have a can, but have never used it, so can't tell you if it works or not.

There is a product called "Fabricguard" and works quite well. A word of caution - when spraying, have good ventalation...it has a very strong odour.

Adorable snowman. Is FabricGuard available at Walmart or LQSs?

Look in the Drapery fabric area they have a fabric called blackout in dirrerent weights. This will work for your wallhanging
