How to Dry Wool Pressing Mat

I’ve used my new wool pressing mat for the first time today - I’ve never used one before.

Now that I’ve finished I realise it it very wet. What is the best way to dry it?
I’ve put it in on the windowsill of a warm, sunny room - will this be ok?

The only advice I have is to make sure that it is flat.

Maybe put it on cooky cooling racks so that air can get on the top and back at the same time?

Good idea - I’ll do that now! Thanks.

It's felted wool so has been boiled. Wetness isn't going to hurt it. I washed my large one in the washer on delicate cycle using Woolite detergent and let air dry. I doubt the dryer will hurt it either. I'll try that next time.

I had wondered if they ever got washed!

I bought mine online and didn’t come with any care instructions.

I washed it because I spilled coffee on it at a retreat. LOL

I also have a wool mat and I also use a spray misting bottle; however, the mat never gets wet.
