How to Dry Wool Pressing Mat
I’ve used my new wool pressing mat for the first time today - I’ve never used one before.
Now that I’ve finished I realise it it very wet. What is the best way to dry it? I’ve put it in on the windowsill of a warm, sunny room - will this be ok? |
The only advice I have is to make sure that it is flat.
Maybe put it on cooky cooling racks so that air can get on the top and back at the same time? |

It's felted wool so has been boiled. Wetness isn't going to hurt it. I washed my large one in the washer on delicate cycle using Woolite detergent and let air dry. I doubt the dryer will hurt it either. I'll try that next time.

I bought mine online and didn’t come with any care instructions. |
I washed it because I spilled coffee on it at a retreat. LOL

I also have a wool mat and I also use a spray misting bottle; however, the mat never gets wet.
