I have a Pfaff 2170.
I've read somewhere that there is a way to show on the screen the total number of hours a sewing machine has been used. But I can't find it now. Does anyone know how to do this? |
On my Husqvarna Viking Designer SE, you go to the tools screen and look at the timer which will give you the hours and minutes. I think your Pfaff would be similar inasmuch as Pfaff and Husqvarna are now one company. :D

I wonder if Bothers have the same feature ?
Good question  |

I tried on my viking sapphire and if I'm looking in the right place, it said SW ver 09479 20070702. Do you know if I'm looking in the right place? Is it 9,479 hours? Wow, I sew ! You'd think I'd have more done!

No the SW # on your Viking is the serial #.

Hey I found it. I knew I had it someplace.
Anyway, in case someone else wants to check their Pfaff 2170, the steps are: 1. Go to Main Menu 2. Press red button at bottom of screen 3. go to Machine test 4. Type in code 4021 5. press OK at bottom of screen 6. Go to Operating Times It's listed by Days:Hours:Minutes:Seconds I don't know if it'll work on other Pfaffs. |
Yes Brothers have the same option. I'm not near my machine; but itis in the section with Needle position, stitch width/length. one of those pages.
