How to get lotion stains out of a quilt?

I noticed while cutting out my blocks that my fabric has what looks like lotion stains on it in a few places...
I don't wear lotion and I just bought it a couple days ago. I think the person cutting had on lotion

How do I get the stains out? I've already cut out the blocks and started sewing them together.
It's on the light blue and dark blue squares but not the white squares.
I bought the light blue and dark blue at the same time and the white at a different store.
Thanks in advance :) <3

If you can't wash the fabric, try some talc, it may absorb the oils. If you can wash it, gently rub some shampoo into the area before rinsing in the washer. Shampoo is made to remove oils from hair, it should work on oils from lotion, too.

Was it fat quarters with stickers? Sometimes they can leave an oily, gunky mess if left on. I rub a little dish soap into the spots and rinse.

It wasn't fat quarters in was just fabric off the bolt.
I can wash the fabric there's nothing on it right now.
I'll have to try the shampoo and I'll try the dish soap and see how it works.
