I am just curious. I know everyone works at a different pace. I am just curious on how long it take you all to make a bow tuck purse from start to finish. (cutting it out and sewing together)
I just made my first purse... not a bowtuck.. but it took me 12 hours.. It seemed like forever.. Thank you for you replies |
The first one took a whole day, lots of little steps reading the directions. Now, not so much. Doesn't take long at all, maybe 3-4 hours. If i actually sat down and concentrated on it, I am sure it would go together really quickly but, kids and all. End up multi tasking.

The first of anything I make takes forever. The more I make, the less time it takes. I can make a bow tuck now in about 4 hours. Maybe a bit less.

Nice bag!! I just got the pattern and am looking forward to making my first one.

My first one took quite a while, now I can whip them out pretty fast.

My first one took about 7 1/2 hours. The second one took about 5. I've enjoyed the process!

My 1st one took all day. I can make one in 3 hrs now. I tend to make them in groups to speed things along. I cut and fuse the batting in one afternoon, then finish them up the next day or two. I've lost count of how many I've made, but you do get faster as you go.
