my mother(85) would be PROUD of you! She keeps reminding us,her 5 quilting daughters--"ITS NOT A QUILT, IF IT'S NOT COMPLETELY(quilted) FINISHED!!!!" make more tops than quilts, LOL!!

Over 30, and stopped counting after that..

It does not matter how many quilt tops you have. You have fun making them, maybe learn a new technique. If they are not heirloom quality, have them machined quilted. And if you don't ever quilt them, think what a treasure someone will find among your effects.

We had a lady come to our quilt guild and give a trunk show. She had many quilt tops. She said that she was going to keep making tops; her children could pay to have them quilted after she's gone.

Lots and lots, but I give them to a group of ladies that finish them and give to those in need.
The ones I give to them are just strip or crazy quilts. Nothing fancy.
I just got me a Janome 6600, so now am trying to get some quilted in time for Christmas. The hand quilting is to hard on my eyes and fingers anymore. ;)

Well, here's the thing: my ideas for tops come faster than I can quilt. As it is, I've already forgotten what quilts I had in mind when I bought the fabric. So when an idea hits me, I get to cutting, etc. "One of these days" I'll get to the quilting.
