7 + my Voyager 17! My Elna 6005 is my main machine. My main back-up is a newer Kenmore.
I have my first machine, a Kenmore that I don't use anymore but loved her to death :) My Dad bought it for me so I will never part with it. Then I got a Bernina which I love.
Then I got bitten by the vintage machine bug- so now I have a total of 9 machines!! I piece a lot on my FW- they are so much fun- the stitch, the portability etc. I also found how much I love bringing old machines back to their beauty and function. There's something very gratifying in that! |

9 or 11 not sure at the moment.
I have two that I sew on, one down in the dungeon (cellar), one in the sunroom, that is also where my TL18LS longarm is at, a serger....and a CE150 Singer Futura I use for embroidery.
I can be sewing on one, embroidery going on the other ...and the quilting machine going...all at the same time. Have to love the Qbot for that! I also have a treddle that was my mom's, a Thompson mini industrial I use for upholstery sewing, an older Singer in wood case & 4 or 5 that we got at auctions at storage units...those I kept after cleaning & servicing them...was going to use in giving quilt classes...but that hasn't happened yet. |
I have 7 machines and I am going tomorrow to get 3 more. All are special in their on way.And if I come across one or two or three for a great price I will buy them. Sometimes I keep them and sometimes I give them to friends and family.I buy almost every machine I come across that has a good price. There is always someone that can use it, and if not it isn't hurting anything by sitting in my sewing room or garage.
Have 3, my '98 Pfaff, which I use for travel to classes, my 2010 Brother, which is too heavy to haul everywhere, and a serger, which I rarely use.
