I have 4. A Brother Runway edition (lightweight) and three Baby Locks. If a man can have more than 4 guns, why can't I have more than 4 sewing machines?

Awesome!!! I was at the Houston International Quilt Festival and really wanted to buy a longarm....but didn't.

I have 3. A vintage white Featherweight, Juki F600, and a Bernina 820.

Around 30. Five treadles. A Featherweight for it's cute factor. A 401 in a cabinet just like my grandmother's. Several other slant-needle machines. Some 70's Kenmores (worth their weight in gold, to me) A couple of 15-91's in waterfall cabinets. A bronze embossed White in the Mount Vernon cabinet. A 301 and a Lady Kenmore in the kitchen. A couple of 201's.

I "rescue" them and fix them up and sew with them for a while, then I usually give them to someone. I love taking something that's been beat up and mistreated and restoring it to beautiful functionality. It's been fun to learn to refurbish them and they sew like nothing you can buy, today. These old gals will sew for another hundred years with minimal care. I smile when I see them. I love to play with them and their antiquated attachments. I do 95% of my sewing lately on a 1947 Singer 15-91. Otherwise, I'm using the serger or one of the zig-zag machines for a garment-making task.

I have one 28 treadle that I only keep because it has a hemstitcher attachment. I could use the 15's hemstitcher, but that's a jackrabbit machine and you need a little precision and control when you're using a hemstitcher. I love all my old gals. :)

I only have two; my old original Kenmore and my new Janome 6600. I'd like to have a featherweight or some other small lightweight more portable machine and I'd like to have a treadle for if the power goes out, and a serger, and of course, a long-arm. Ha!

if a man can have "toys" be it guns, cars or what ever, I don't see why I can't have MY "toys" too.

This is like asking how much I weigh!!!(haha). I have 3 Bernina's, 1 featherweight, singer 99, my grandmothers cabinet singer, treadle cabinet singer, Jones crank, brother for the granddaughters, and 22 antique toy machines and salesman samples. I enjoy them all!!

Ok, new to this thread and didn't read all responses yet! I have an industrial 8700 and a Pfaff that I love love love! I also have (on display, none functioning) a Necci, Singer 206k, 301a, and one from a treadle that was given to me. Wood on the cabinet was destroyed. I have an Atlas, a Federal and a pretty little "Standard" hand crank. Well, I guess that one *is* functional, but the cords were cut off before I got it! The 206 was my maternal Grandmother's, and it probably does work, but I retired it anyway. I found out today that the one from the treadle was my paternal Great-Grandmother's!

2 Pfaff 2170, one Brother 1500S, Babylock Imagine serger and BL coverstitch machine. I also sew and embroider. The 2170s are embroidery machines. I have 2 in case of emergencies - like one messing up in the middle of a project.

One Bernina 630E "Nina", Two 1976 Bernina 830 recoreds "Bernie" and "Ernie", One 1951 Singer Featherweight Centennial, One black 1952 Singer 301, One Baby Lock 418 serger, One Janome 234 Serger, Two Nolting long arm quilting machines a 24 inch and a 16 inch, and my oldest is my 1879 Singer 12 new family fiddle base handcrank, that keeps me sewing during power outages. So that is a total of 10, but that is just my sewing machines, my husband Pete buys, restores and resells old Singer sewing machines and he has quite a few more of then that.
