ok how many say 6 inch squares does it take to make a twin and then how many to make a queen size ???

Twin size is around 70x90 so, for a finished 5.5" block you need 221 six inch squares.

Queen size is around 90x108 so, again for finished 5.5 blocks you need 340 six inch blocks.

I hope that's right, LOL!

6 inch finished? Or cut 6 inches and finished at 5 1/2 inches? Makes a difference.
