20 blocks were sent from Texas Gulf Coast. BTW, did you see that they requested cream colored fabric as the background?? I've seen lots of photos on this blog with white backgrounds. Also, I reread my directions and never saw a final measurement given for a finished block. Where did you find a size for a finished block?

My daughter & I sent 8 from Illinois--5 red. 3 blue. I , too, hope we'll see hear how many blocks are received and if more than 100 quilts are made. I'd love to see pictures of them (or at least a few of them).

I think they were going to final cut them so they would all be the same size. It looks like a 12 1/2" block to me anyway that is what mine came out as. One place it says to use light background fabric another says to use cream. I did one white and another in cream.

HI all love and prayers to all that are in and have been in the service to our country. Thank you from the bottom, top and middle of my heart. Four more here from CA. How are you all mailing them? I am not sure how to mail them so that they are not a mess when they get there. They probably will have some one pressing them. I think that I will send them in between some comic backing boards. I plan to do more before time is up. GOD bless America.
