How many times have you sewn/ripped same seam?!

I think I lost count at Four! It could have been more! And it was only a 5 inch seam! I stayed to long.
should have quit long ago today!

I stop sewing when I rip the same seam three times. Usually, that's late at night and I should be heading to bed anyway.

After the third time, or sooner if the fabric is fraying. I am usually overly tired or overly excited or overly pressured with a self-imposed deadline (as in the date of the party or occasion). That's when I say to myself, "walk away from the machine and nobody gets hurt." LOL

“Nobody gets hurt” giggle! I was too stubborn trying to get darn points right

I haven't ever kept count but it's been quite a few. Just hate days like that.

I think my limit is three - by then my temper is taking over and time for me to walk away. (And yes, it's usually late at night - so I try to stop sewing about 9 to 9:30.)

i try to convince myself that three attempts is enough for any reasonable person.

unfortunately, i am not a reasonable person.

i think the record is at least six.

My quilting teacher said that you should probably quit at three because if you keep at it the fabric will be hopelessly stretched by then. Easier to recut & start over. If I'm cussin' or cryin' it is time to take a break. If I decided to sew when I knew I was too tired invariably I was right.

I like what Zozee said about nobody getting hurt haha!
When I first starting sewing long ago, my husband, who is not at all one to tell me what to do generally, made me stop at 10 pm because I would get all riled up! I still chuckle at that memory. I don't usually sew at night anymore. I like hand work while I'm watching the Yankees but not sewing machine work. Much better haha

I am as stubborn as a person can be ---therefore I rip and rip until I have it just the way I want it to be. I am a little of a perfectionist too!! This is probably why I don't get too many quilts made LOL
