Hi, I grew up on Signal Mountain, which is right outside Chattanooga but now live in the valley in Jasper between Chattanooga and Nashville (25 miles from Chattanooga). My favorite store is Lavender Lime and I also love Deckerd Needleworks on the other side of Monteagle. Also Hammers in Winchester. Wish there was something here locally but then I'd probably have to take out a second mortgage on the house! So probably best that I have to save up for weekly trips into Chattanooga.

I belong to the Stitchin' Sisters Quilt Guild which I helped co-found so my best bud and I could network with other quilters. Now there is so much online and I am loving it! Just have to make sure I don't spend more time online than I do at the sewing machine! Love this site!

This is an older thread, but I wanted to jump in! I live near Knoxville and would love to meet more quilters. I live in Jefferson City about 35 miles east of Knoxville. If I need anything major I drive ino Knox. :) Of course I LOVE Tennessee Quilts in Jonesboro. Its the best in the state IMHO.

I used to live in TN and hearing where all of you are from is sure bringing back some memories!! AND I bet I even knew a few of you!! LOL.....its a small world. I was in the Chattanooga area a lot growing up even though I lived in GA and I lived in Dayton, TN for a few years. Been in AR for over 4 years now but TN sure was a pretty place to live!!
