--How 'bout Rossville GA? It's right on the state line at Chattanooga :)

lucylockett, if you drive I-75 as far as Chattanooga, there's a fantastic shop, Sew-Bee-It, at the Ringgold Ga exit! There are wonderful yarns, too;I don't knit or crochet, but I really enjoy looking at the textures and colors...

Hey TN Quilters,
I live in Madisonville which is between Knoxville and Chattanooga. It is a small town but I just hop in the car and travel towards West Knoxville to my favorite shop, Gina's Bernina. I am not far from Maryville and just found Pappy's Quilting, and 2 new shops on Hwy 411N. I just got back from attending a 2 day retreat at Lavendar and Lime in Chattanooga for Handi-Quilter. TN is a great place to live and think our secret is out as I can't believe all the traffic on the highways. Our recent Shop Hop had 14 shops with in a 2-3 hour drive.

Check out Lavendar and Lime. Very active store!

Did you get to all of the shops? I only got to 10, I love Pappy's in Maryville.

I grew up in Harriman and have lived in Fayetteville for almost 35 years.
I think it's cool to find so many Tennessee folk here! Who knew? We need to plan some get-togethers in each area - middle Tennessee, obviously and northeast and southeast and west!
I had not idea JoAnn's was coming to Murfreesboro (1 hour away), but I'm glad to hear it. I get to the one at Cool Springs (Nashville) fairly regularly, but that 20 minutes closer could make a definite difference.

Happy weekend to all my felloiw Volunteer State folk!

I was raised in Norma Tenn. close to Oneida Tenn. A lot of quilters in that part of country. Most of all the oldies are gone.
I live in South Ga. now and still quilting. Love it and would like to go back to the Mt and hibernate, in order to quilt. Just me and my machine, stash of course and with electricity. I could rough the rest of it.
