I wonder if you can help. I want to make a storm at sea quilt. How do I calculate how much fabric to buy of the chosen fabrics?

Does your pattern or instruction booklet give you yardage needed????

You can google "storm at sea quilt pattern" and get all the information you need. The instructions were for a blue and white one but it showed them made in many colors.
Be sure to post a picture when you're done :)

I have a SAS pattern, 40"x52". Calls for 10 fq in light/medium batik, assrted yellow, orange, green, and blue
6 fq in dark batiks, assorted red, purple, green, and blue
3/8 yd blue batik for binding
2 3/4 yds backing
