This is the link to the Triple Irish Chain quilt I would like to make. Can anyone help me with how much fabric I will need to make the twin size? I have looked everywhere and cannot find a pattern with yardage required for Irish chain patterns. For some reason this has always been a challenge for me, I either get too much or too little when I have to figure it out myself.

Any help would be appreciated...Thanks...

Try this web site, it has a lot of information. http://www.quilterscache.com/StartQu...iltingtwo.html

If you can locate Eleanor Burns Quilt in a Day/Irish Chain, Single & Double, it would be a big help for you. Easy directions for anyone to follow. Just a suggestion.

The quilt shown finishes at 60"x84" So will require
1 1/4 yd of dark
2 3/4 yd of light
Plus binding and backing.

If you want it larger then will require additional fabric.

Holice....Thanks for the yardage requirements....I know it should be easy for me, but for some reason I never get it right unless it is spelled out for me.
