I charge between $16-$25 depending on size and extra if I supply the binding.

Those prices are very reasonable. I have an acquaintance who does lots of hand binding for people who have health issues that make it difficult/impossible to do much handwork--or who just hate doing handwork. Whichever category you fall into, getting such work done at 10 cents or 17 cents and inch looks like a bargain to me. froggyintexas

For the first two quilts I made (king size) I had a long armer do the binding, I almost chocked when she told me that she charged .75 per inch, this was before she saw my quilts. After looking at the binding I am sure I could have done a much better job than she did. I have now been sewing on my own binding (which I enjoy doing) and have gotten pretty darn good at it.
