Mine is at least 15 years old...It's grandmothers flower garden. I still take it out and work on it sometimes. I hope to get it done before I die!!

I think my UFO is about 18 years old. I took it out about a year ago. I hadn't been quilt for very long when I started this quilt so I can see the difference in my quilting ability. The boarders are VERY wavy. I was learning how to hand quilt then. That was the last quilt I hand quilted.
Maybe I will finish it in my lifetime not sure.

They have been in way too long. I had another quilt that was made and marked at the same time. Pencil marks still in after eraser, spray and wash, shout. I just shrugged and said hmm gives it character. lol

I purchased a piece of material in the 1970's to make a skirt. It as very expensive material. I love it still and it still is in my crate not completed. I have never cut it and do not wear skirts now so someday it will be a blouse.

i hate to admit the oldest UFO i have is...?
i took a class in the late '90s & it's one of those "what was i thinking?" sort of things--in fact, the teacher/shop owner has since closed the store & retired!

When I was cleaning out to move I found a pattern pinned to material all cut out. It was a size 7 kids pjs. At the time my son was 38. Don't think it will fit and grands kids had passed that stage too.

I have 2 tops made by my grandmothers as my wedding presents in 1969. They didn't layer them because I knew how to quilt. I never finished them, but I do think about it once in a while. They are both for full beds so I don't know where I'd use them now. I might have to finish them just to say I did.

My oldest UFO was a sampler quilt block quilt that I made in my first quilting class. That was in 1985. I plan to machine quilt it for my "first" machine quilted quilt. Still in a basket waiting.

My oldest quilting UFO is only about 1½ years old. But don't even ask about the cross-stitch stuff I used to do and have never gotten back to since starting to quilt!

none, even gave away all my extra blocks (after quilt was finished) to a friend who's going to make a scrappy quilt. Do have several blocks I made to see if I liked the pattern, am keeping them for inspiration
