I used the One Block Wonder book and made one similar to this. Using a design wall makes it real easy to sew the quilt as strips without losing track of which hexagons you want to sew together.

Skip thru the instructions till you get to the part where the strips are cut into 60 degree triangles.
Make sure you don't join the 2 halves of the Hexagon! it will make it so much easier to construct.

wow! i'm really excited about this quilt! cant wait to make it! if you use small all over prints you dont have to match them like you would for a s&w! oooo, can't wait to start!!!

Can't believe how easy this is! Just using up batik scraps right now. And it looks so fancy!!

Will make rows of 1/2 hexes then join matching rows together.
What fun! I made 4 hexes from cutting strips to finished in under 1 1/2 hrs!
