When you purchase a small project kit, how do you know what colors are what? Example: Cut 3 2 1/4 blocks from light color 1 etc. when the material in the kit doesn't match the colors on the pattern?

Are the fabric pieces provided close to the colors in the pattern picture? If so, use the picture as a guide.

it should at least tell you what size color #1 is, that may help

yes i would ck first all the sizes of the fabrics you have. then figure if you can get the amount of cuts they say out of each. that should help. if you have two lights but one is larger or smaller, this should work. cut last!
