Okay, seriously this has given me some ideas. I'm moving my weights to my sewing room. Cardio happens at 5 a.m. but there are several spot things I can do, including squats-why haven't I thought of this before? I sure have managed to get a variety of snacks in there...

My ironing board is on the other side of the room. Lots of up and down and steps. Does that count as aerobic?

Thanks for the LOTD. (laugh of the day)! Maybe I can use that for my doc.

It is working out if I have to take it to Guild and UFO's. But I am already carrying a sewing machine, fabric, rulers, iron, and assorted tools to Guild and UFO's.

This one made me laugh. I have my ironing board in the laundry room most of the time. And anyone who thinks quilting is not a cardio workout has never machine quilted a king size quilt on a domestic sewing machine. That's work, but worth it.

I use a treadle, so does moving my foot up and down count. I really don't think so, because the motion is too easy.

I am with Murphy1. Sew and iron upstairs. Cut in dining room and layout on guest bed, main floor. Spray baste in the basement. Up and down all day. To say nothing of the dogs who go in and out frequently through the basement door. And one of them does not do stairs! So there's my weight workout.
I go to the gym, but skip the stair master thingy. Enough already!

Great idea! I'm using mine as a door stop!

Thanks for bringing a little laughter into our lives. You weren't exactly lying to your Dr., it's all in the interpretation.
