I am using a mid weight fleece for backing without any batting. It is a lap size couch quilt. Will 505 spray it and then pin baste lightly. What would look the best for quilting? I want to take it to quilting on Thursday to finish.... Thanks in advance.

depends on what the recipient likes in life. then tranfer that into a quilting design.

I am sure any type you are comfortable doing will be fine

I would do something simple.

Simple and follow the material on the front. I find it usually "tells" me how it should be quilted.

Diagonally with a fun stitch

I've quilted two warm wishes quilts. The first I did a SID in the seams and then in the blocks I did a heart within a heart for the warm and a star within a star for the wishes. The other one I just did meandering free motion quilting. Hope this helps. Good Luck.
