Congratulations...(green with envy). I rent an HQ Avante for my quilts at a LQS and love it...as another member posted, it is user friendly. Enjoy!

Happy for you and can't wait to see what you create!!! I do not have a long arm but have rented time and learned a lot . I hope you get the free lessons!

If you can possibly bite another bullet, I highly recommend attending the class in Salt Lake City. You'll come away from it with enough confidence to try just about anything.

I love my HQ Fusion is the best - I had a A-1 four years of he-- so got a HQ love , love , love it .
I have a computer , pro-stitcher not good on computers still trying to use it. classes are always after 2:00pm and a hour and a half away. so looking for someone close to me. Have fun with your HQ  |
I've had my Avante for 2 years now and love it as well. The set up was easy enough that my husband and I did it with no problems. My only advice is to make sure you set the frame high enough. It needs to be higher than you would think. Right now I still need to have my husband raise mine another 3 inches. I am looking forward to attending the Handi-Quilter Academy in June this year for the first time.

I have the room ready. . .I have my UFOS ready! I've been watching the videos. I get the machine this week, |
Congratulations, you will love it. I would recommend you look at MK Quilts. She does online classes and has a facebook group she give tips on all the time.
I went to Utah and found it to be too much information at once. Feel free to email me with any questions. Join the facebook groups. Susie |
Handi Quilter also has a blog and lots of information and help right on their website.
