HST ruler
Thanks to whoever recommended the Bloc-Loc HST square up rulers! I know, I know! You can square HSTs with a regular ruler, but since I am a gadget gal, I had to try one of these. I am very impressed. Ruler did not move at all when I was squaring up my blocks. I am doing a BOM that is all HSTs and this has made it much easier. I am so much more accurate using this.

That is all that matters! Tools should make jobs easier for us. Glad these worked so well for you. I saw these rulers at the quilt shop just last week. It is an interesting concept and I can see that ruler would help with accuracy.

Thanks for the link, I think I will be looking for these trimmers.

I LOVE MINE!!!! I am thinking about getting the flying geese versions. I'll wait until the Grand Rapids show and get a demo first.
|
I won a set of these rulers on a blog give away. I use them more then I thought I would. They are faster and foolproof then a regular ruler.
|
I was never one to buy all these tools and gadgets but recently changed my mind and bought a few. Life is so much easier now. I am hooked on them. Going to check this one out now. Thank You.

To much work with that ruler.
Check out Quilt In A Days triangle square up ruler. One cut to sq up. You dont open the HST instead you put the line for the size you want on the seam line and make one cut. I have demo'd it at meetings and many have bought it. |
I have the Quilt in a Day square up rulers for making HSTs. I have to turn the ruler twice to get everything square.
|
How do you turn it? You just set it on the seam line and line it up on one edge. Then cut once.
