HST scrappy sampler I am working on - sashing color help?

What do you think would be the best color for sashing between these blocks? I just can't decide. I made hundreds of HST's, made two quilts from them. Since I had lots left over I decided to make a sampler. All the blocks are only HST in different layouts. This pic is the first 13 blocks I did yesterday, will do the rest today.

Hmmmm I think I like the white, it makes the HST colors pop. will be interested to see what other think.

I love your sampler! Maybe audition different fabrics, take a pic and see what you like best.

Good idea, you know, with all the colors I have been auditioning I never thought of staying with just the white. Then maybe different smaller blocks for cornerstones. Thanks!

The white would be very pretty and make your blocks sort if float and ease into each other. But what about a black, or black on black print like some of your white? it would frame all of your blocks and make each one stand out on its own. If that's too stark maybe use your hst's or white blocks as cornerstones.

Either way would be really pretty.

Ps I love your blocks and colors.

I would stay with the white.

I'd actually go with a light blue or a gray. It's coming along great.

I would do a really thin black or black on black maybe cut 1 and 1/2 inch then go for it from there on. Love the quilt. I am a scrappy kinda gal

I like this idea. It will look so crisp and fresh.

Since your blocks are in happy colours, I vote for happy sashing. Maybe cheddar or yellow? Bonnie Hunter just posted her bright Boxy Stars on her blog today that she used purple sashing and yellow border. Have a look at her quilt and see what you think
