There are so many intering fabrics and patterns and alot of imagination out there, to make quilts.
I'm currently looking for matterial with Hummingbirds in it
or maybe a block pattern of a Hummingbird . I would like to make my mother-in - law a quilt she loves Iris's and Hummingbirds. I did find a pattern for a appliquaded Iris.
Just haven't found any fabric with HummingbirdsMaybe soeone might know where , I might look for it.

Hi, I love hummingbirds, too. Google "free hummingbird quilt block. I found several, at least one applique and some that are paper pieced. mary

I think I have some batik. Not much. Check out your batik shops. I'll take a look. While you are planning the quilt you can make her a little something. My Mom loved hummingbirds too. There is lots of iris fabric if you don't want to piece the blocks. Dotty
