On the hunt for...
A flower technique that Jenny Rayment uses, it is done using a hexagon shape and sewing sides together, followed up by her twiddling a bit and coming out with a three petalled base to which is added another twiddled hexie to buid it up.. Can I find it anywhere? Can I buffalo! Can I also point out that I am not talking about traditional English piecing.
I have seen her do it on a demo on Create and Craft TV (guilty pleasure) and have searched high and low for it... so does anyone here understand what I am talking about and where I might find a tutorial? |
I think you'll find it in her book tucks textures and pleats and you can get it from her website she says she'll post anywhere in the world cost included in book price, hope this helps

She has a lot of you tube videos too.

There is a tutorial under Hexagon Folded Flowers in QB tutorial section. It was posted by jlm5419, is this similar to the one you are looking for?
|
Thanks Tartan and Not More, but it is not that one, it is not origami based and has stitched seams. However the pattern you refer to is on my to do list for this Autumn as it looks like a blast!

Wish I could help, sorry.

Amazon.com has the used book, "Tucks, Texture and Pleats", in good condition for $4.93 with $3.99 shipping.
Might be something else in it you could use. |
