A few years ago I was in a quilt shop in Lancaster, Pa and saw place mats that looked like they were woven strips of fabric. Should have bought them but didn't and then came home and looked for the pattern or even tried to recreate it with no success. Does this pattern sound familiar to anyone?

Were they actually woven strips or just looked like it? Sounds like Weaver Fever if they were not woven.

not really sure anymore but I know some of the edges were loose.........like you could put your finger under the edge...........yet not to the batting.
