The local quilt guild is hosting Sharon Schamber this weekend. She is giving a free lecture tomorrow night and I am taking one of her classes on Saturday (Double Wedding Ring Pieclique). I'm so excited!!! Tomorrow Sharon is going to talk about her quilting journey and show us some of her quilts. If I can take photos, I will and share them with you.

I met her and she is very friendly and not a quilting diva as some I've met seem to be. I know you will enjoy her class. She is one great quilter.

Oh gosh, I wish I were going!! Going to Quilt A Fair in Longmont Co. but I sure won't get to see her. I am jealous!!

Take your camera for sure, she will allow you to take photos, and even handle her quilts! You will be amazed, they are incredible. The amount of detail in the quilting is stunning. She has lots of great techniques. Have a great time and hurry back with some pics!
