All quilts have to have at least one "mistake". Only God makes things perfectly.

Oh, I feel your pain...... I bet it's still beautiful though.

After the first couple of times I did this I started taking pictures if them before they are quilted. It is easier to see your mistakes.

I was so proud of it when she opened it and everyone oohed and ahhed. She said she was going to use it for a wall hanging in the nursery. It's beautiful! And I mean that sincerely. Anyone would feel loved to receive that quilt.
The photograph made me think a little of tic tac toe though I know it's kisses and hugs. Neither kisses and hugs or tic tac toe comes in a specific order- it's beautiful and so incredibly thoughtful. |

Many old time quilters said there had to be one mistake in a quilt, so they purposly made one. My Grandmother was one of those old timers. So sorry about yours. I know it is
heartbreaking. |
It took me a few to see the mistake. On a bed,no one will probably notice,and if so,its still great!
